Icing on the Cake

Party for 50 in less than 48 hours. Still have the house to clean, the cupcakes to make, lunches to arrange, party games to set up, goody bags to goodify, and decorations to hang. Plus swim class and general parenting. My kids are not great about letting me take 12 hours to just get ready for their party. Apparently they need interaction and food.

I’ve put together a ton of frosting and am underwhelmed at the prospect of cleaning. I have choreography to do and some payment reminders to send to some parents at the nursery school who are avoiding me.

And I kinda love this…almost as much as I will love the nap I will take most of Sunday.
