I continue to wrestle with yarn and needles and things like counting.

These are the third pair of fingerless gloves/wristers/circumcised mittens I’ve made.  I’m going to attempt to make the thumb holes less of a reminder of my last gynecological visit.  I do like how they add much-needed bulk to my wrist, offsetting my bulky belly.

Speaking of bulky bellies, I was asked to bring dessert to a New Year’s Day brunch.  I made some brownies, which looked like brownies, needing no special photo. I also made Strawberry Cheesecake Stuffed Lemon Cupcakes, which sound grosser than they taste.
